Privacy Policy

LiftDay is built on a simple promise: we don't want your data.We don't collect it, we don't store it on our servers, and we don't sell it. This page explains what that means in practical terms.

1. What we collect

Nothing. LiftDay has no accounts, no login, and no backend server. We do not collect personally identifiable information, email addresses, names, phone numbers, IP addresses, device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

2. Where your data lives

Everything you create inside LiftDay lives only on your iPhone:

• Your daily workout / rest day check-ins
• Your streak data and stage progress
• Journal entries and mood ratings
• Reasons (your "why")
• Letters to Future You
• Unlocked achievements and milestones
• App preferences (weekly target, reminder time, theme)

This information is stored in LiftDay's local database on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. It never leaves your phone unless you explicitly back it up via iCloud Device Backup (which is encrypted by Apple and not accessible to us).

3. No analytics, no tracking

LiftDay does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or telemetry tools. We do not know how many times you've opened the app, which features you've used, or whether you've launched it today.

4. In-app purchases

LiftDay offers an optional Premium subscription through Apple's StoreKit and the App Store. When you make a purchase, Apple handles the transaction directly. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID (generated locally, not tied to you) and your subscription receipt from Apple. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any LiftDay data.

5. Notifications

With your permission, LiftDay schedules local notifications on your device for: an optional daily reminder, a "streak at risk" nudge, and delivery of letters you've sealed for the future. These are all scheduled locally — we do not have a push notification server.

6. Children's privacy

LiftDay is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. Because we do not collect any data from any user, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Data deletion

Open LiftDay, go to More → Settings → Reset all data to permanently delete every workout, rest day, journal entry, mood, reason, letter, and achievement from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes all stored data. Because we don't have a server, there's nothing else to delete.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Because we never collected your contact information, we cannot notify you directly — please check this page from time to time.
