Common questions

My streak didn't update after I logged a workout. Close LiftDay completely (swipe up from the bottom and flick the app away), then reopen it. The streak recalculates on launch.

I missed a day. Can I add it back? Tap the Calendar tab, find the day you missed, and you can edit it retroactively. LiftDay's streak is forgiving — if you missed because of illness or travel, the weekly-target system means a flexible week is still on-track.

I'm not getting notifications. Open More → Notifications. If the banner at the top is red, tap "Open" to grant permission in iOS Settings. If the banner is green and you still aren't getting notifications, check iOS Settings → Notifications → LiftDay and make sure alerts are enabled.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions → LiftDay → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Restore my purchases on a new iPhone. Sign in to the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, install LiftDay, then open the paywall (any locked feature). Tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom.

How do I export my data? LiftDay is intentionally local-only with no export feature right now. Your data lives in your iCloud Device Backup (if enabled) and migrates when you transfer to a new iPhone. Explicit export is on the roadmap.

I want to delete everything. More → Settings → Reset all data wipes every workout, rest day, journal entry, reason, letter, and achievement permanently. Uninstalling the app also removes all data.

Other ways to help

LiftDay is built by one person. The single biggest thing you can do is leave a review on the App Store. Tell your gym friends. Share a screenshot of your climb. Word of mouth is everything for tiny indie apps.
